Do You Want To Increase Workplace Productivity?
How to increase workplace productivity.
The most important asset in any business is the staff that makes it operate. So if the company looks after the staff and makes the work environment a happy and healthy place, staff morale will be high and so will be productivity.
People like to be appreciated.
Major companies have realized the benefits of taking care of their staff not just financially but physically as well. For the small outlay the company makes the rewards in staff productivity, attendance, morale and profit are certainly worth it.
Imagine how your staff would feel if they were treated to a 10 minute neck massage while they were at work or if a personal trainer came into the workplace once a week to get them exercising and away from the desk.
If the staff can let their mind relax for 30 minutes and do some physical exercise, they will be able to focus better on their job.
Studies have shown that fitter, healthier people think clearer than people that feel sluggish and are more motivated.
Giving basic healthy living tips to employees and having healthy snacks in the staff room instead of junk food or sweets is a way of helping your staff getting the mindset of a healthy lifestyle. And it shows that as an employer you care for your staff and are leading the way.
Providing adjustable work equipment such as chairs, desktops and shelving will make each individuals work environment safer and friendlier and will be beneficial to the company because it will reduce injury and complaints from neck and back strains.
Adjusting lighting in office settings to reduce computer screen glare can save the company from staff having time off with migraine complaints.
So if you want to increase your profit margin and productivity look at the work environment and see what small changes can be made to make it happen.
Your staff are your best asset and advertisement, so if they’re happy other people will notice and will want to deal with you.
This could save you expensive advertising money.
