Coolum Personal Training is generally where the client trains one on one with a trainer to reach their Health and Fitness goals although sometimes there can be options such as Group Personal Training or Home Package Training.

The benefits of working with a trainer are endless but if you are considering exercising on your own than there are some factors you should ask yourself first.

1. Do you know what you are doing? This may sound simple but if you have an injury or health condition some exercises can be dangerous to your situation.

2. Safety. It's easy to get hurt in a gym environment if you don't know how to use the equipment properly.

3. Motivation. Are you motivated enough to keep going until you reach your desired goal? Will you keep getting out of bed in the morning when it is cold or will you turn the alarm clock off? Is this why you are in this situation?

4. What is your specific goal? Do you have one and know how to plan to get it or are you going to "wing it" by copying other people and listening to bad advice?

5. Will you be accountable to yourself or will you make excuses as to why you haven't succeeded?

6. Do you know when to change your program, after a month, 3 months, 6 months or are you planning to stick to the same old thing?
